Thermal Ceramics

KRST Therma Ceramicl products are the optimal choice for safety and quality

in high-temperature work environments.

NSP-21

The product is designed to prevent the adhesion of splash molten metal generated during steelmaking and smelting operations, thereby enhancing detachability. It improves the safety and efficiency of operations by facilitating the separation of molten metal (such as slag) from equipment, including slag ports, and protecting containers.

Product Features

When applied as a coating to equipment surfaces, the molten metal encounters fine protrusions of ceramic fibers, generating a lotus effect. This minimizes friction resistance on the coating layer's surface, ensuring that the surface tension of the molten metal is maintained, allowing for easy separation.

Chemical Composition: Composed primarily of SiO2, Al2O3, ZrO2, and C.

Physical Properties: The coating layer is structured to form ceramic fiber nano-protrusions on the surface using ceramic fibers.

15 µm thick CERAMIC FIBER
3545 µm size impression graphite

Chemical Composition

Material group Guaranteed Typical
SiO2 60%≤ 65.4%
