Brush Roll Equipment

Our brush rolls are engineered for specialized applications such as de-scaling, de-greasing, and cleaning the surfaces of steel, non-ferrous metals, and other strip materials. By directly extruding bristles optimized for specific requirements, we deliver customized solutions ranging from ultra-thin foil processing to robust steel descaling operations.

Features and Benefits

  • The implementation of an upper-and-lower brush roll system reduces the required installation space by approximately 50% compared to conventional brush-backup roll systems. Furthermore, the removal of the backup roll minimizes maintenance expenses, enhancing operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • The brush-to-brush system minimizes vibrations, which are a primary cause of chatter marks on steel surfaces and bearing damage. By ensuring alignment of the upper and lower brush rolls with the steel surface, as illustrated on the right, this system effectively suppresses vibrations.
  • The lateral (work-side) extraction of the brush roll simplifies maintenance and drastically reduces replacement time. Furthermore, the pre-machined joint connecting the motor side and the brush side eliminates the need for additional disassembly on the motor side, enhancing operational efficiency.

Option

  • Oscillation System
    • This system enables the brush equipment to oscillate back and forth along the strip's width direction when detecting both edges of the strip. By utilizing this functionality, the brush roll experiences uniform wear, effectively minimizing irregular wear patterns and ensuring smooth and consistent brushing on the strip surface. Moreover, the system extends the overall lifespan of the brush roll, reducing maintenance requirements and enhancing operational efficiency through prolonged durability.
  • C-Camber
    • The C-Camber device corrects C-shaped deformation in steel sheets by creating a reverse C-shape through the roll, allowing brushing when the sheet returns to a flat position. This ensures uniform brushing across the sheet's width while reducing brush roll damage, improving reliability, and extending equipment lifespan.
