The second Spindle (E2) used in the Edger Stand of POSCO Gwangyang Hot Rolling's Rough Mill has been fully domestically developed. Since the introduction of the 2nd Hot Rolling E2 Spindle in 2010, we have successfully supplied and implemented the E2 Spindle across all mills from the 1st to the 4th at POSCO Gwangyang Hot Rolling. The E2 Spindle experiences relatively high load torque due to its large bending angle and rotational speed. Additionally, since it operates in a reversing mode, the torque load is significantly higher. Previously, this spindle was entirely reliant on foreign imports, but now, through our domestic development, we are able to provide it with reduced costs, faster delivery, and enhanced service.
