Building C, Ceramic Board Production Pohang
Q. Could you please introduce your responsibilities or the projects you are working on?

I oversee the C Factory, which produces ceramic board products. My responsibilities include managing the production process, overseeing production control, and ensuring the maintenance and repair of equipment, to ensure smooth operations across the entire production line.

Q. What knowledge or skills are required to perform your role effectively?

As ceramic board production is a new field for me, practical experience gained through hands-on work has been more important than theoretical knowledge. I believe that having the right mindset and determination is key to progressing in this role.

Q. What do you think are the advantages or appealing aspects of working for our company?

I feel proud to see the company grow each year, and I appreciate the opportunity to broaden my perspective by observing other production processes within the company. I also value the ability to seek advice from experts in various fields, which helps me tackle challenges and receive quick feedback.

Q. Could you describe a typical day at work, from start to finish?

My day starts with a toolbox meeting where I provide work instructions and discuss safety measures and any other important points before we begin work. I review the previous day’s production results, check material consumption and production quantities, and ensure everything is on schedule according to the order form. I also monitor inventory levels to ensure we do not run out of materials. On-site, I check the condition of equipment, identify potential issues early, and plan for repairs if necessary. I ensure that production is proceeding according to set conditions, verify that raw materials are accurately measured and mixed, and check that finished products meet quality standards while ensuring a safe working environment.

Q. What is one thing your department is fully committed to in the course of your work?

The employees in our department who produce ceramic board products are among the best technicians in Korea, and we take pride in our work. We are dedicated to achieving our goals and, when we don’t meet them, we reflect on what went wrong, discuss improvements, and work together to enhance product quality and productivity.

Q. Where do you see yourself in the company in the next 10 years?

In 10 years, I hope to be even more dedicated to my work, building strong relationships with my colleagues, and growing into someone who is respected by others. I want to continue to offer ideas to improve productivity and efficiency from a manufacturing perspective and contribute to the overall success of the company. Ultimately, I hope to be part of a team recognized for producing the best ceramic products in the industry.
